Trying to Become a Morning Person as a Small Business Owner
As a small business owner, my days are often packed with to-dos — from creating new crochet plushies to managing orders and prepping for shop updates. Lately, I’ve been trying to change up my routine by becoming more of a morning person. (Easier said than done, right?)
In my latest studio vlog, I challenged myself to start the day earlier and really focus on building better habits. I documented a full day in my life with timestamps, so you can see exactly how I spent my time — from my slow morning start to the late-night wrap-up of my April shop update prep.
Some of the things I worked on during the day included:
- Finishing up new plushie designs for the shop update
- Taking tons of product’s photos
- Editing product listings and photos
- Taking breaks to reset and recharge (super important!)
It was a cozy, productive day, and I actually started to enjoy waking up earlier… kind of. 😅 If you're curious to see how I balance running a handmade business while trying to stay motivated and organized, this vlog is for you.
Thanks for being here and supporting my small business journey! 💕
